I purchased this Intel DX38/OCZ DDR3 package on June 5th (invoice #2685100) and sent in the $35 rebate form only to have it denied because OCZ claims it is only valid in the U.S.!!
What I want to know is WHY would NCIX include an OCZ Intel Canada rebate form for this bundle if it is only valid in the U.S.????…This is VERY misleading!! I purchased these items BECAUSE of the rebate and now I am out $35!..to make matters worse the Intel DX38 board had to be RMA’d (#129929 July 21st).
I’ve purchased ALOT of goods from NCIX in the past few months but to be honest you are about to lose a customer, which is too bad because my business is growing and I thought I had a reliable supplier that I could count on.
Feeling very dissapointed and ripped off! I certainly expect and hope for a speedy response and explanation reguarding this matter, preferably by phone (you have my number on file).
Sincerely,
Robert Chaput
OCZ rebates only get denied for “wrong country” if you’ve sent in the wrong form.
ie. If your OCZ rebate is being mailed to the USA, it will be denied since you’ve used the wrong form to send it in.
Canadian customers should only be using the Canadian address forms. (No stamps to the USA)
OCZ is also very good about approving rebates that have errors on them, so they can probably still help you get your rebate approved. I would like to suggest visiting their forum and posting in their rebate help section.

Oh, now I see the problem. You’re right, the wrong form was posted. It has been replaced by the correct form. Please contact NCIX to have them resolve the issue with OCZ.
