I purchased an ASUS EEE PC 901, because of the rebate, the price became right. My friend called it in with another order. The invoice is in his name. The small print indicated that it is not transferable, does this mean I can’t get the rebate. May I have the invoice modified to show my name? Please advise.

I would suggest filling out the rebate in his name and having him cash the cheque. Easier than modifying the invoice.
